Polmuz Model 1 – Natural Series – Made in Poland
100% Maple Shells
Drum kits from the Model 1 series are manufactured in Poland. The shells are made from 6 plies of maple with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. The entire processing and finishing of the Model 1 series is meticulously done by hand in our workshop in Gdynia.
The shells are selected and thoroughly checked, with the edges undergoing additional manual processing to meet the highest standards. The shells are hand-oiled and then protected with a double layer of wax. All finishing products are 100% natural and safe for health. The wood breathes freely, giving a full, beautiful sound.
The Polmuz Model 1 is a true unique and a rarity among drums. Each set is made to order for the client.

Polmuz Model 1 – Walnut
100% Walnut Shells
The Model 1 Walnut shells are made from 7 plies of walnut. The entire processing and finishing is done by hand in our workshop in Gdynia. Walnut delivers full, warm low tones while keeping a clear, focused sound – a versatile wood that works across many musical styles.
Shells are hand-selected, the edges receive additional hand-finishing, and the wood is hand-oiled and protected with wax. Every kit is built to individual order.
Polmuz Model 1 – Bubinga
100% Bubinga Shells
The Model 1 Bubinga shells are made from African bubinga – a dense, hard wood that gives the drums powerful, deep lows and clear, singing highs. It is prized for its rich, warm character and wide dynamic range.
All finishing is done by hand in our Gdynia workshop: shell selection, hand-cut edges, oiling and wax protection. Every kit is built to individual order.

The shells in the Walnut series are made from 7 plies of walnut with a total thickness of 5.4 mm. The top priority when designing Polmuz drums was sound quality. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. Full, low-end resonance combined with focused and clear sound is achieved through the careful selection of walnut layers, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shaping.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a man named Tomek. Tomek dreamed of offering a professional drum kit for 3500 PLN, complete with hardware. He wondered why top drum manufacturers didn’t provide professional features in kits at this price range, as that’s what he wanted to sell. Instead of waiting for a miracle, Tomek decided to take matters into his own hands. As a production technologist and architect, he knew exactly how to proceed. The design process took a long time, with many prototypes, but eventually, success was achieved.
