POLMUZ RUDIS

Polmuz – the legendary brand known for producing the first Polish drums, recognized by every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its factories located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized drum store DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Currently, Polmuz offers high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that rival the best products on the market. Bold designs combined with proven solutions have allowed Polmuz to storm not only the Polish drum market but also the hearts of those who fondly remember their first Polmuz drums.

FEATURES

The Polmuz Rudis model features a raw finish, immediately suggesting true artisan production. The surface of the cymbal has been re-hammered, and the slightly rusty color only emphasizes its fierce character. This treatment ensures that the Rudis series cymbals not only sound great but also look stunning.

The Polmuz Rudis Thin 22″ Ride is a cymbal that will be loved by fans of warm, light, yet well-defined sound. The entire Rudis series maintains a raw finish, and the characteristic hammering marks add a lot of character to the appearance.

The wide range of sound spans from sandy tones to full, dark expressions.

The cymbal is quite thin, and therefore light. Its weight makes it an excellent choice for drummers who prefer lighter music genres such as jazz, fusion, or indie rock.

ALLOY B20

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in an 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are known for their rich, dark, and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used to produce the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for making cymbals.

FORGING METHOD

Each cymbal is additionally re-hammered during production. This adds character, making the sound sandier and significantly enhancing its depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (THINNED)

Polmuz cymbals are uniquely thinned at the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.

PRODUCTION

The cymbals are entirely handmade in our workshop in Turkey. This gives each cymbal its unique character. Turkey has a long tradition of cymbal making, known for their original production process, quality, and, most importantly, reasonable price. It’s no wonder these instruments are considered some of the best in the world.

WARRANTY

Each cymbal (except for the splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only requires a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a picture, and our staff will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty process, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.
