POLMUZ MODEL STRONGLY FORGED
FEATURES
The Polmuz Mocno Kuty series features a traditional finish. Visible marks of intense hammering immediately suggest true artisan production. The entire surface of the cymbal has been additionally lathed.
The Polmuz Model C is the most versatile series among the company’s professional models.
The wide range of sound spans from dark, sandy tones to full, bright expressions.
Produced in many versions, from paper thin to heavy or rock. Even picky drummers will have to admit that there’s a familiar note here, reminiscent of the classic K/Constantinople series. That’s exactly what Polmuz is – rooted in tradition, hand-hammered, and a hallmark of the Polmuz brand.
ALLOY B20
The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in an 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are known for their rich, dark, and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used to produce the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for making cymbals.
FORGING METHOD
Each cymbal is additionally re-hammered during production. This adds character, making the sound sandier and significantly enhancing its depth.
CYMBAL EDGES
Polmuz cymbals are uniquely thinned at the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.
PRODUCTION
The cymbals are entirely handmade in our workshop in Turkey. This gives each cymbal its unique character. Turkey has a long tradition of cymbal making, known for their original production process, quality, and, most importantly, reasonable price. It’s no wonder these instruments are considered some of the best in the world.
