POLMUZ MODEL 07
FEATURES
The 07 series features a hybrid finish. The raw finish on the edges and bell immediately suggests true artisan production. The rest of the cymbal surface is lathed and finished to a high gloss.
The entire 07 series is maintained in an interesting hybrid finish. The wide range of sound spans from full, bright expression to a sandy sound. The cymbal is of medium thickness, making it very versatile. It will undoubtedly find its use in most musical styles.
ALLOY B20
The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in an 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are known for their rich, dark, and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used to produce the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for making cymbals.
FORGING METHOD
Each cymbal is additionally re-hammered during production. This adds character, making the sound sandier and significantly enhancing its depth.
CYMBAL EDGES (THINNED)
Polmuz cymbals are uniquely thinned at the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.
THICKNESS
The Polmuz 07 21” Ride is of medium weight, making it very versatile. It works great in recording studios, as well as in popular music and fusion styles.
PRODUCTION
The cymbals are entirely handmade in our workshop in Turkey. This gives each cymbal its unique character. Turkey has a long tradition of cymbal making, known for their original production process, quality, and, most importantly, reasonable price. It’s no wonder these instruments are considered some of the best in the world.
WARRANTY
Each cymbal (except for the splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only requires a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a picture, and our staff will take care of the rest.
Polmuz ensures that during the warranty process, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.
