TOMASZ “ŻABA” MĄDZIELEWSKI

Born on January 9, 1984, in Grudziądz, Tomasz “Żaba” Mądzielewski started playing drums at the age of 6, taking his first musical steps under the guidance of his parents. In 2001, he joined his father’s blues band, “Vacat Blues Band,” with which he began achieving significant success. This includes five participations in the South Port Jazz Festival in the UK, where in 2006 he was awarded “Best Young Drummer On The Festival.”

He has toured almost all over Europe, appearing at major festivals in Germany, France, the Netherlands, England, Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, and Croatia. He performed on the most prestigious outdoor stage in America: the “Jay Pritzker Pavilion” in Millennium Park, Chicago. He has also frequently performed at the biggest festivals in Poland.

He has performed at numerous major Polish festivals, including Sopot, Opole, Rawa Blues in Katowice, Jarocin, Heineken Open’er Festival, Top Trendy, Muzodajnia Gwiazd, Eska Music Awards, 4Fun Festival, Pozytywne Wibracje, Thanks Jimi Festival (The Guitar Guinness Record), Bass Days Poland, Solo Życia in Lublin, and “Co jest grane” in Warsaw.

He has also appeared in many television and radio programs, including MTV, Eska TV, Viva Comet, “Śpiewaj i Walcz” on TVP2, “Szkło Kontaktowe” on TVN24, “Klubowe granie – Confashion Orchestra” on Radio Pin, “Offsesje” on Program Trzeci, concerts on Antyradio, Radio Dla Ciebie, Radio Pik, and in Studio im. Agnieszki Osieckiej on Polish Radio Program Trzeci. He has also participated in shows at Music Messe in Frankfurt and Drum Fest in Chorzów.

He has collaborated with Mrozu, Ania Karwan, and Kasia Popowska. Currently, he is the drummer for Sound’n’Grace, Kasia Moś, and Grzech Piotrowski’s Alchemik Orchestra. He actively participates in drum clinics and his solo projects.
