ŁUKASZ “LUK” JELENIEWSKI

Łukasz „Luk” Jeleniewski (born September 13, 1977, in Piła) is a Polish rock-jazz musician and drummer; a permanent member of the band Lipali. He has a secondary music education.

He began his musical career in 1996, playing percussion instruments in garage bands in Gdańsk and a school percussion group. He performed in Tri-City clubs, participating in jam sessions. Three years later, he was invited to collaborate as a percussionist with the Tri-City formation IMTM (I’m Thirsty Mum), which at that time presented Latin jazz and acid-jazz. He collaborated with the band as a drummer until 2001.

Since 1998, he has started guesting and collaborating with Polish bands: Blenders, Paragraf 22, Arhythmic Brain. He has also collaborated with Katarzyna Gaertner, Filip Siejka, Jerzy Mazzoll, Leszek Możdżer, Tymon Tymański, Michał SKINNY Skórka, Przemek Jabłoński, Piotr Liroy Marzec, Patrycja Markowska, Krystyna Prońko, Wojtek Karolak, Jarosław Śmietana, and Mirosław ‘Carlos’ Kaczmarczyk. He also participated in recording tracks for charitable purposes.
Additionally, he participated in international music projects from 2010-2013, including the album “DEER PROJECT,” recording compositions with Karen Edwards (PRINCE, STEVIE WONDER). In 2000, he was invited by Tomasz Lipnicki to collaborate on his solo project, Lipali. He also runs a Rock drum school in Gdańsk.
