POLMUZ MODEL 10

Polmuz – the legendary brand known for producing the first Polish drums, recognized by every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its factories located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized drum store DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Currently, Polmuz offers high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that rival the best products on the market. Bold designs combined with proven solutions have allowed Polmuz to storm not only the Polish drum market but also the hearts of those who fondly remember their first Polmuz drums.

FEATURES

The Model 10 series features a raw finish, immediately suggesting a true artisan production. The surface of the cymbal has been re-hammered, except for the bell. The entire cymbal has been darkened and polished, giving it a truly dark yet prestigious character.

This treatment ensures that the Model 10 series cymbals not only sound great but also look stunning.

ALLOY B20

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in an 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are known for their rich, dark, and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used to produce the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for making cymbals.

FORGING METHOD

Each cymbal is additionally re-hammered during production. This adds character, making the sound sandier and significantly enhancing its depth.

CYMBAL EDGES

Polmuz cymbals are uniquely thinned at the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.
